Well.. seems like my life is about to dramatically change within the next six months. Here within the past few weeks, my parents have started working with a new realtor and put the house back on the market. They showed the house twice in a week, so they really mean business this time.
They have been searching the internet for property and houses up in middle east Georgia for the past week. Labor Day weekend we are taking a trip up to Georgia to look at some property and the nearby towns that my parents are interested.
I am really excited about all of this, the idea sounds great. Georgia is a beautiful state, plus the property up there is so cheap. So after next weekend I will have more of a clear picture of what to look forward to. My mom has her eyes on this one 26-acre parcel which is going for $48k. Down here you could buy 26 acres for an easy $2million, no joke!!
I am excited about the move but then I would be leaving a lot behind. Jon is staying down here until May so he can finish school, and then he plans to move up there near us.. but depending on if he wants to do something else those plans may change. He has had talks of going out to Texas for school, or heading out to Kansas to help a friend that's starting a church. But there is no telling what may happen, all I know is that I love him no matter where he goes. This is no puppy love or love that may fade, I love him no matter what.. and no matter where either of us are. Sometimes you just have to seperate in terms of geography to get a job done before we cam come back together. I have to look for a school up in Georgia and get back on track with my major, and finish out my classes.
I just don't know exactly where we are going yet, or what the future plans for my life is yet. I have had one general idea of my life but everything seems to be changing this year. Within this one year most of my friends have moved away, I am moving away, and I found the love of my life. Hard to believe so much can happen in a time span of eight months.
We shall see what happens.... the house hasn't sold yet! :>D
